1.  How can we rename a layer?

Ans: To rename a layer in Flash CS6, follow these steps:


1. Select the layer

2. Double-click the layer name

3. Type the new name and Press Enter

                                         OR

1. Right-click on the layer.

2. Selecting "Properties”.

3. Enter the new name

4. Click "OK".


 

2.  What is the use of masking?

Ans: Mask layer is used to create spotlight effect. It provides a hole through which we can see the content of the layer.

 

3. What are the types of Gradients? Name them.

Ans: In Flash, there are two main types of gradients:

a.  Linear Gradient: A linear gradient is a transition of colors along a straight line.

b.  Radial Gradient: A radial gradient is a transition of colors that radiates from a central point.

 

 

 

 

4. Explain the two methods of creating an animation in flash?

Ans: a) Shape Tween:

1.  Morphs one shape into another.

2.  Creates smooth transitions between shapes.

3.  Requires shapes to be created on the same layer.

b) Motion Tween:

1.  Animates objects along a path.

2.  Can animate position, scale, rotation, and other properties.

3.  Can be used with symbols, groups, or text.
